C\u2019est \u00e0 Barr en alsace o\u00f9 il passe son enfance sur les contreforts des Vosges. C’est au milieu des vignobles et de la route des vins d\u2019alsace, qu\u2019il r\u00e9alise ses premi\u00e8res sculptures d\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e2ge de 13 ans .<\/em><\/h4>\n

Tr\u00e8s impressionn\u00e9 par les sculptures que faisait son arri\u00e8re-grand-p\u00e8re et mises \u00e0 l\u2019honneur dans la maison familiale, il s\u2019essaie \u00e0 reproduire par mim\u00e9tisme les gestes s\u00fbrs de ce dernier sur le bois dur des vieux ceps de vigne\u00a0 .<\/em><\/h4>\n

Tr\u00e8s vite il arrive \u00e0 apprivoiser et ma\u00eetriser la mati\u00e8re sur laquelle il sortira ses premi\u00e8res sculptures . D\u00e8s lors il ne cessera, d\u00e8s qu\u2019il le peut, de concr\u00e9tiser les multiples id\u00e9es qui foisonnent dans son esprit .<\/em><\/h4>\n

\u00c9clectique en tout point il se traduit comme\u00a0 touche \u00e0 tout, aucune mati\u00e8re ne le rebute, il harmonise les formes et taille la lumi\u00e8re ; celle-l\u00e0 m\u00eame o\u00f9 il puise son inspiration… la vie, la nature, la po\u00e9sie, la musique et la philosophie sont de la lumi\u00e8re condens\u00e9es ! Voil\u00e0 un creuset in\u00e9puisable !\u00a0 Il explique que chaque r\u00e9alisation prescrit sa propre mati\u00e8re.<\/em><\/h4>\n

Il c\u00f4toie plusieurs artistes dans son entourage, notamment\u00a0 Marcel Sch\u00f6nenberger par lequel il apprendra les rudiments acad\u00e9miques de la peinture et la sculpture.<\/em><\/h4>\n

Marcel Sch\u00f6nenberger, sculpteur de renom sur Colmar, le corrigera volontiers sur ses r\u00e9alisations. En quelque sorte sa main se posera sur la sienne et lui apprendra les bases du modelage, il lui donnera \u00e9galement sa vision, ses connaissances mais aussi une vraie r\u00e9flexion sur la sculpture.<\/em><\/h4>\n
